It was created by Joesy Whales when he crossed Chem Sis with his Sour Dubb. He gave a couple of seeds to his colleague Mardogg, who produced the seeds years later and ended up with 4 Gorilla Glue phenotypes. Due to the extraordinary production of trichomes they decided to take pheno number 4 to breed with it. We sourced an elite cutting directly from Standard Seed Collective and crossed, backcrossed and stabilized this extraordinary variety.
Gorilla Glue is the kind of weed that literally sticks to your fingers in big clumps when you try to break it up. GG #4 has a pine and spice aroma and a sandalwood and sweet cherry flavor. When consumed, it shows its enormous potency with a THC level greater than 30%. It has very clear cerebral effects that last more than 4 hours. Gorilla Glue #4 should only be consumed by experienced users. The strain is incredibly resinous. A bane of all trimmers, GG4 got its name from its tendency to jam scissors until they jam. This shining star produces a euphoric, focused and happy high and offers the best results in a SCROG grow.
Since it stretches a lot during the 9-week flowering period, it should only be grown for 2 weeks before reducing the lighting time to 12 hours a day. Gorilla Glue #4 produces yields of 500-550 g per m2 or 600 g per plant outdoors.
